Our wee organic food box at the end of the drive, right on the path of the Great Glen Way, situated between the Invermoriston to Drumnadrochit stretch, 4 miles from Drumnadrochit in Balbeg.
We sell humble fresh home-made organic baking such as, flapjacks, bread and scones; eggs from our own hens when we have them and water. This is self service with an honesty box.
We believe in good food, made with excellent ingredients, at a fair price.
The food box itself was made by David from a fallen Rowan tree behind our house, hence the name “Seada Luis” a Gaelic translation “Seada=Shed” & “Luis=Rowan tree”.
Milled with a chainsaw by eye at home and handcrafted in our workshop.
Kerri has created a fantastic homemade hand felted welcome sign to give you all a warm Highland welcome- Failte!
David has been screen printing in 2018 to create some T-shirts for the stalwart walkers of the Great Glen Way, as a memento of achievement in completing their Highland odyssey.
The inspiration for the image is inspired by the LDWA – Long Distance Walkers Association – Route profile, for the Great Glen Way. We really loved the way when you flipped the image and put the two together you got a very cool looking mountain range and reflection in the water of Loch Ness. We like it! hehe…
These are printed on 100% cotton and are for sale at the moment for £15 per shirt at the food box – Seada Luis, on the great glen way.
Feedback is always welcome, so please dinna be shy!
